Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Kumar

Dr. Mukesh Kumar is a distinguished personality in Indian media, boasting an impressive career spanning 39 years, including 25 years in electronic media. Renowned for his versatility, he excels as an anchor, YouTuber, writer, columnist, poet, and academician.

Currently, Dr. Mukesh holds the position of Editor at Satyahindi.com and its associated YouTube channel which has more than 3.2 million subscribers.

Previously, Dr. Mukesh served as the Dean at Lovely Professional University in Punjab and played a pivotal role in the launch of six prominent news channels: News Express, Sahara Samay, S1, VOI-MP&CG, VOI-Rajasthan, and Maurya TV. His television career is marked by hosting several popular shows, including Rajneeti-Khel Satta Ka, Shatranj Ke Khiladi, Baat Bolegi, Kahi-Ankahi, Sammukh, and Aapki Baithak, as well as the widely viewed breakfast show Subah Savere. He also served as the Editorial Chief for Parakh, the first national weekly magazine on Doordarshan.

Dr. Mukesh began his career in print media, founding the Hindi Daily Sentinel in Guwahati and serving as Executive Editor of Samay Sutradhar. He also held the position of Assistant Editor at Dainik Naiduniya. Before his role at LPU, he was an Adjunct Professor at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and later served as Professor & Dean at SGT University.
